Tchaikovsky. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. One of his most charming and magical compositions. Although it is so often associated with ballet in popular culture, as a musician it's hard to think of the celesta without also thinking of this piece. Only invented a few years before, it's amazing to think what audiences must've thought at the arpeggiated section – hearing a new timbre for the first time! You play the second half of this song so beautifully. Most other renditions neglect to put as much effort into the underrated second half, and you really did a wonderful job.
