Hello! This piece is well-known as Bach's Adagio. In fact, it is J. S. Bach's arrangement of the second movement of A. Marcello's Oboe Concerto in D minor. Now remember everyone.. Bach did NOT “compose” this! Marcello did. The soul piecing came from Marcello and was then preserved and highlighted by Bach’s genius intertwining treble and base to create depth in his own compositions. Bach TRANSCRIBED from oboe/strings to harpsichord.

I most enjoy playing this at 1.25x bpm. It removes the tendency to drag on the piano.
