Grieg – Piano Concerto in A Minor

Hello! I’ve prepared a piano concerto after a long time. I was contemplating between the orchestral version and the piano solo version, but since the piano solo version sounded sufficiently good, I decided to use that arrangement for the performance. I grew up with my dad playing this on our baby grand. I’d sit behind the piano and feel the vibrations.

It felt like he was summoning down a thunderstorm. This was the piece that made me realize music could be a force of nature and locked in my love of it.

There are so many orchestral versions of this, but I really really love the solo piano and I’m so glad you did it this way! Fantastic job!
